Respiratory services help those with chronic and acute respiratory illnesses with onsite treatments and therapies. Respiratory therapists also work collaboratively with patients, family members, and home care providers to acquire respiratory equipment for use in the home.
Treatments include mechanical ventilation, continuous positive airway pressure, airway management, delivery of aerosolized medications, bronchopulmonary hygiene, arterial blood gas sampling and analysis, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, oxygen administration, and other clinical aspects of respiratory care.
