Expert Care
At the Pain Clinic, the causes of pain are identified, addressed and managed by chronic pain specialists. Our clinicians work in partnership with your primary care or specialty care physician to help you find effective relief.
Joseph Hagan, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist who, in addition to his work in pain management, serves as medical director, department of emergency medicine.
Karen Armento, CRNA, ARNP, is a certified nurse anesthetist, advanced registered nurse practitioner, and a fellow with the American Academy of Pain Management (AAPM). She uses all-encompassing approaches in diagnosing and treating pain, using traditional and complementary techniques, to improve the quality of daily life for individuals living with chronic pain.
Jennifer Christoffers, RN, BSN, MA, is the pain clinic nurse. She has advanced credentials and training in the practice of nursing, providing nursing assessment and care to patients during their visits and assisting during procedures.
