Private Birthing Suites for Every Patient
Our birthing rooms resemble hotel suites and are complete with a private bath, vanity, television and plenty of room for family members and birth partners to visit and participate in your birth experience. A pullout couch is available in each room for anyone staying with you who needs to catch a catnap or spend the night.

Designed for privacy and convenience, our patient rooms double as birthing rooms. You do not have to leave the room for labor, delivery or postpartum care. Called Single Room Maternity Care, this family-oriented philosophy of birth care recognizes the importance of family life in the birth process.

A Nurse To Call Your Own
Every family having a baby at Valley Regional receives the extra attention of one of our specialized Nurse Care Managers. A specialized maternal/child health nurse, your Nurse Care Manager will guide you through the childbirth process from early in your pregnancy to the delivery of your baby.

Your nurse will give you all the guidance, support, education materials and health care that you will need to make this a special time and is available to answer questions, address unique concerns and handle unexpected problems.
