Resource for regular treatments

We offer a quick, convenient location for blood monitoring and testing. As a small office next to Valley Regional Hospital, patients and families enjoy streamlined service away from the activity of the main building. Parking, registration, and scheduling are simplified in this specialized treatment center for cancer.

The Kane Center offers initial oncologic evaluations and medical follow up from Norris Cotton Cancer Center experts—a boardcertified oncologist and board certified nurse practitioner. A certified oncology nurse provides chemotherapy and other infusion services such as intravenous medication, hydration, and injections. A specially equipped infusion room offers a comfortable, personal setting for regular treatments.

Individuals and their families play a central role in creating a treatment plan that is consistent with their goals and needs. A patient's care is closely coordinated with referring physicians and other specialty care providers.Through our partnership with Norris Cotton Cancer Center, our patients have access to the latest treatments still under development in clinical trials.

Norris Cotton Cancer Center is one of the nation's premier facilities for cancer treatment and research, and a resource for specialized care and clincal trials throughout the region. Norris Cotton Cancer Center strives to bring care as close to home as possible through outreach clinics like the Kane Center.

As one of only 39 centers in the nation to receive the National Cancer Institute's Comprehensive Cancer Center designation, the Center offers programs and services usually available only in more urban areas. Patients receive the most technologically advanced cancer treatments—developed here and in collaboration with scientists throughout the nation.The Center also leads in developing better ways to alleviate symptoms for cancer patients during all phases of their disease. Scientists at Norris Cotton Cancer Center study the causes of cancer and how it can be prevented and cured. Discoveries in the laboratories and clinical facilities of the Center are advancing the worldwide dream of eliminating cancer entirely.

The Kane Center is affiliated with Valley Regional Hospital, a critical access hospital serving the needs of Sullivan County and beyond.Valley Regional offers complete medical/surgical care, critical care, behavioral health services, and 24-hour emergency care. In addition to oncology services,Valley Regional Hospital offers on-site laboratory and radiology departments (x-ray, CT Scan, MRI) and a comprehensive array of diagnostic testing. In addition to hospital-based services,Valley Regional also provides primary care, home health, visiting nurses, homemakers, companions, and hospice care.
