Valley Regional Same Day Surgery

Since 1977,Valley Regional Hospital has offered a Same Day Surgery program to patients whose surgery or medical procedure can be performed in a short period of time. Many Same Day Surgery patients are able to return home after their procedures. Others may be required to remain overnight for observation or for a few days.

Across the country, everyone involved in healthcare is working hard to make safety a priority. We all have a role in making health care safe-doctors, nurses, technicians, and you, the patient. You can play an important role in making your surgical procedure safe by becoming an active, involved and informed member of your health care team.
