AudiologyThe Audiology Department at Valley Regional Hospital identifies and monitors hearing loss to ensure prompt medical diagnosis, treatment, and intervention. Audiologists are also trained in assessing vestibular problems or dizziness. Organs in the inner ear send signals to the brain that gives us our sense of balance. If there is a problem with the sending or receiving of these signals balance becomes difficult. Audiologists can often provide interventions that will help to decrease symptoms of dizziness or provide detailed assessments to help your physician diagnose and treat the condition.
The goals of all assessment and treatment services in the Audiology Department are to preserve and protect hearing. Hours of Operation: 7:00AM - 2:00 PM; Monday through Friday
