Vascular Imaging
A Vascular imaging test examines blood flow in the major arteries and veins of the arms and legs. With the use of ultrasound, inaudible sound waves are directed into the body to create a series of images, allowing the size of the blood vessels to be measured. The test also measures the speed and blood flow patterns to determine if there are diseased areas in the vessels.
