The Best of Norris Cotton Cancer Center in our Hometown
For patients navigating the difficult and uncertain journey through chronic disease a car ride to receive care can be a tremendous hurdle. For the last ten years a successful collaboration between Valley Regional Hospital and Norris Cotton Cancer Center, one of 39 facilities in the country recognized as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute, has provided the very best in oncology care right in our own hometown.
At the Kane Center, our goal is to provide treatments to cure or control disease. We work with patients and families to maintain quality of life during treatment. Our holistic approach embraces the whole person-physical, psychosocial, and spiritual. We offer support, education, and compassion for both patients and families.
“The Kane Center provides initial evaluations, medical follow up, and chemotherapy and infusion services all within our local community,” commented Margaret Burns, RN, Phd. “Community members receive the highest quality oncology care from certified oncology nursing staff and board certified physicians of Norris Cotton Cancer Center.”
The Kane Oncology Center is located within a new dedicated and expanded space of Valley Regional Hospital. Recent construction has included a new infusion treatment area and private care area for patients with chronic conditions that require ongoing injections and infusions.
