Connecticut Valley Childcare Center

Connecticut Valley Child Care Center provides a warm, safe and stimulating environment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Our qualified staff support children's development, nurturing each child's unique qualities and potential, and instilling the skills children need to be successful in their academic, civic and social lives.

Conveniently located along John Stark Highway between Claremont and Newport, our center offers families several opportunities, including an intergenerational experience with neighboring seniors participating in the Adult Day Program of Connecticut Valley Home Care.

Programs

CVCCC prides itself on its low turnover of staff. Rooms practice a team-teaching approach, and are defined as follows:

Infant/Toddler

• Ages: 6 weeks to 35 months
• Ratio: 1 teacher to 3 children
• Maximum Capacity: 12 children

Preschool

• Ages: 36 months to ~ 60 months
• Ratio: 1 teacher to 8 children
• Maximum Capacity: 23 children

Hours of Operation

Monday - Friday: 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Closure Dates

A listing of all upcoming holidays will be distributed in January of each year, but typically they are as follows:

• New Year's Day
• Memorial Day
• Fourth of July
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day

Two additional closure dates will be announced annually. Teachers will use these additional days to improve their classrooms and curricula.
